To start the post, we first are going to see vocabulary related to periods of time; from seconds, up to years. It will take us to the final vocabulary step that is the seasons of the year. Let’s start:

So, we are all ready to finally see the seasons of the year. Of course, it depends where you are, the seasons are not the same. Sometimes the weather all year long is hot, hot and rainy, cold, rainy or just cool. We are going to take the four seasons of the year that we have in Spain. The name of season will be surprising for you:

If you look back, we had seen that the meaning of ESTACIÓN was station. Well, it is in Spanish as well; the real expression in Spanish is stations of the year, which is the same for us as seasons of the year in English matters:
